Who and where are we?

Slovenia; The mighty but easily accessible Julian Alps! The tourist area in this attractive geographical area is linked by four developed tourist towns: Bled, Kranjska Gora, Bohinj and Bovec with the Soca Valley. Most of the area is within the Triglav National Park ,which measures 85 hectares, and is one of the largest natural parks in Europe. The park lies in the vicinity of high stony mountains including Mount Triglav (2864 m); the highest mountain of Slovenia and the Alps. It's deep river gorges, highland karst potholes and friendly highlands, it protects many endemic animal and plant species (living in the park, among unique plant species there are chamois, mountain sheep, wild roosters, grouse, eagles and marmots, wolves, boar and even bears) and the tradition of the hard life of alpine dairymen and mountaineers.

Slovenia is best accessed using Easyjet. By flying to Ljubljana or Trieste (with Ryanair) in Italy, where it is just a 20 minute drive to the borders of Slovenia. Slovenia boasts year round flying with thermals right through the winter! Top this, -10 degrees and still thermalling in January, that's in the North. In the south it doesn't even drop below freezing!Easyjet and Ryanair flights typically cost just £60 return, including taxes, providing mid week travel is used outside school holiday season. Now that makes for a fantastic weekend break!

Enjoy Slovenia before the dreaded EU turns their cost of living to that of the rest of Europe!

xTc Paragliding have been operating in Slovenia since 2002 and boast being the most experienced guides in the region. We have operated in Slovenia for the full flying season now for several years and this year we purchased a property here where Brett Janaway, proprietor of xTc, now lives full time.

We are located just 700m from Sorica launch, where many of the World Records are set from in Paragliding and Hang-gliding. Sorica is also a bustling Ski Resort in the winters and so we can offer great accommodation for your Skiing Holidays too!
